With synopsis and archival footage and photography, this short video is a preview for theatre producers for two one-acts. My aim is for these two jazz plays, exploring the legacy of legend Chet Baker in 1955 and 1959, to be excitedly received by knowing eyes, and produced at a theatre in Los Angeles. Having four productions under my belt, I am now seeking the investment and creative adoption of this vision by a producer for the Los Angeles stage. I've worked with both of these playwrights before, as you will see.

Stephen Delbos, poet laureate of Plymouth Massachusetts and professor of English at Charles University in Prague, wrote "Chetty's Lullaby", and we presented it at the legendary San Francisco venue Viracocha, and then moved it down the street to StageWerx, running from 2012-2015. He and I prepared 'Sittin' Pretty' for the 2018 Paris Fringe Festival, and Delbos has now expanded the play to a cast of six.

Barry Eitel, a recent graduate in playwriting from NYU's Tisch, wrote "The Cool" which we took to NYC in 2015. He then wrote an entirely different play but retained the name, and we mounted it at Viracocha (then called Amado's), in San Francisco, in 2017. Chet Baker's legacy is ripe for scrutiny and the live element of professional musicians makes these plays really special for audiences.
